Business Lecturer – Part-time

The Enterprise and Professional Service Industries Department is looking for a part-time Business Lecturer with experience and passion to deliver the highest quality of education to our students. You will be part of a committed, ambitious and enthusiastic team with a reputation for success.

As a college group we are excited to be offering T Levels in Management and Administration in addition to Business and Finance courses from Level 1 to 4.

The College's mission, to enable our students and apprentices, and our region's businesses to be successful in their future, achieving their highest aspirations and standards, through exemplary technical and professional education and training.

You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey industry standard information and ideas in a clear, concise and engaging manner.  Your energy and motivation will come from actively engaging students in the learning process to aspire students to achieve.

You will be expected to be able to teach innovative and inspiring sessions defined by the course specification. The successful candidate should be passionate and be able to demonstrate relevant industry experience having the ambition of passing on their knowledge and experience to the future generation.   

You will either possess a degree in a relevant subject and/or have relevant industry experience. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage with young people aged 16-19. You will either possess or be willing to achieve an advanced level teaching qualification.

Experience in teaching and learning would be advantageous, although industry experience will be considered for those with the ambition of becoming an outstanding Lecturer. Fareham College will offer free in-house teacher training to those wishing to enter the teaching profession.
